WHERE TO FIND ANSWERS

It's important to find good advice

that will never change.

That kind of advice and wisdom

comes from Jesus, God's Son.

Here is what He said:

Anyone who hears and obeys these teachings of mine

is like a wise person who built a house on a solid rock.

Rain poured down, rivers flooded,

and winds beat against that house.

But it did not fall, because it was built on solid rock.

Anyone who hears my teachings and doesn't obey them

is like a foolish person who built a house on sand.

The rain poured down, the rivers flooded,

and the winds blew and beat against that house.

Finally, it fell with a crash.

When Jesus finished speaking,

the crowds were suprise at his teaching.

He taught them like someone with authority,

and not like their teachers of the Law of Moses.

As Jesus came down the mountain,

he was followed by large crowds.

+ A DAY IN THE LIFE +

Have you ever wondered what God's Son, Jesus, was like at your age when He lived on earth? Did He make the right decisions? The answer is YES! Jesus was the wisest person who ever lived, and this is what a day in His life was like for Him as a teenager.

Every year, Jesus' parents went to Jerusalem for Passover. And when Jesus was twelve years old, they all went there as usual for the celebration. After Passover his parents left, but they did not know that Jesus had stayed on in the city. They thought he was travelling with some other people, and they went a whole day before they started looking for him. When they could not find him with their relatives and friends, they went back to Jerusalem and started looking for him there.

Three days later, they found Jesus sitting in the temple,listening to the teachers and asking them questions. Everyone who heard him was suprised at.. how much he knew and at the answer he gave.

When his parent found him, they were amazed. His mother said, " Son, why have you done this to us? Your father and I have been very worried, and we have been searching for you!"

Jesus answered, "Why did you have to look for me? Didn't you know that I would be in Father's house?" But they did not understand what he meant.

Jesus went back to Nazareth with his parents and obeyed them. His mother kept on thinking about all that had happened. Jesus became wise, and he grew strong. God pleased with him and so were the people.

" Wisdom means Jesus had the right answers,

and He choose to follow them"

[Sometimes, people tend to skip that second part!]

Buy not only Jesus have the right answers,

He is willing to share them with you anytime you need them.

Even though we can't see Jesus, He can see and hear us.

Talk to Him just like you would talk to a friend. it's called prayer.

Jesus has promised to give us the answers to specific situations in our lives.

is trustworthy and loves you for who you are."

" Someone who is always there for you.

Friends can tell you you're wrong without rubbing it in."

" Someone who helps you, encourages you,

humors you and likes to hang out with you."



" Someone who trust you and forgives you."

" Someone who has things in common with you.

Someone who is trustworthy and is there when you need Him."

" Someone you can trust, share you problems with and is always there or you."

" Someone who cares for you,

listens to everyday problems and doesn't lie to you."

" Someone who doesn't tell secrets or gossip."

" Someone who stays with you 'til the end.

Someone who is not a backstabber."

++ everyone would like friends who fit all of these descriptions...

all of the time.

Because none of us is perfect,

even our best friends will let us down on occasion.

There is only one person who can be the greatest friend you would want during every second of the day and night.

He is God's Son, Jesus.
